** River Rat Run
Of course, our biggest fund raiser of the year is the SCSJHR River Rat Run: An annual event held in the month of September with all proceeds benefiting a children's charity of our choice. We host a three day rally bash that is the talk of the town! Motorcycles, live music, vendors, camping, bike games, auctions, raffles, kid's events, and SO much more. You would be a fool to miss out this year. Keep checking; we'll have more details as they become available.
** Wedding
Baja and Wendy are finally tying the knot!! Yea! Eight years together- it is about time. We'll all be celebrating with them on their BIG day: February 16, 2008. Congratulations to the love birds!!
** Check Presentation
We will be presenting a check to the Guadalupe Children's Advocacy Center on February 23, 2008. The funds were raised at our River Rat Run this past year. It will be the biggest check the South Central chapter has had the privilege of handing off. Our efforts in fundraising last year has awarded us such a great honor of being able to truly help the children in our communities.
